Description:
Max Size in nature:
Males reach 7 cm, females are smaller.
Characteristic
Ovoid body squat. The head and front of the dorsal and pectoral fins are yellow-orange. The rest of the body may be pink to light ash gray . The species is characterized by the presence of a large black stain on the upper half body , just at the base of the ridge.

Ecological Description:
This damselfish lives in harems dominated by a male. It lives in the coral areas of outer reef slopes and deep lagoons.

Maintenance:
Behavior:
Planktivore, this lady is one of the least aggressive. However, it is attached to a territory, even if spawning, and as such can be highly protective. Apart from its territory, it will ignore the other fish.
Cohabitation
Fish can be a little aggressive, but it is tolerant of other fish.

: Unless predatory fish, none
